This blog is no longer the home of the legendary – GMSC Skateboard and lifestyle emporium* but is now the new GMSC blog. Here occasionally our minds will wander onto new themes – food, drink, life & the living & loving of, semi occasional ramblings, findings & links, even maybe a little bit of skateboarding, you never know. *(The best little skateboard store this side of just about everywhere for those in the know in case you were wondering). GMSC – because we like it that way.

Made by Leprechaun's - The NikeSB dunk EIRE.

The name leprechaun apparently derived from the Irish "leath bhrogan" (shoemaker). These apparently aged, diminutive men are frequently to be found in an intoxicated state, caused by home-brewed poteen. However they never become so drunk that the hand which holds the hammer becomes unsteady and their shoemaker's work affected.

Well it appears they've been darn busy 'cos hot off the truck this morning arrived the NikeSB lo pro dunk in its Irish colourway. Featuring EIRE embroidered on the rear of each heel - beautifully crafted in a colourway that takes influence from the irish flag..

I'm not even going to go into, how apparently they've been released to celebrate the 1916 Irish uprising or any of that, suffice to say that the colourway rocks, the Guiness / Irish harp is rendered beautifully and there'll be alot of happy oirish rocking these babies.
